DIY Cheap Mods
Spray it on and rinse it off.
Do not use it on polished aluminum unless you want to re polish it.
You can buy it at the hardware store it is sold as Ospho.
I would dilute it before using it.
I use it all the time, it is great.
You can also buy it at automotive parts stores as mag wheel cleaner for uncoated wheels.
The Fatboy wheels polish up very nice however they do not stay as nice as say 6061 aluminum, and must be repolished every year or more if they get wet all the time like mine.
The hardest thing about polishing the FB wheels is getting the cast marks sanded out.

I know people have already covered this mod, but here was my take on the air intake, at first I wanted to use a car audio speaker grill, but stores don't sell them separately apparently, wandering around a few stores I came across sprockets, a few different types of saw blades and I personally decided on a "diamond cut" saw blade, mainly because it was mostly black and I could add a touch of my own to it. So here goes. 12$

I'll assume it won't need to be sealed to the filter? If so, you're gonna be generous with the gasket goop. Second thot...when I first use one of those, it comes out of the first cut muuuuch smoother than it went in, indicating that the bonding process isn't total: it loses whatever diamond dust that isn't really glued on - and that might not be cool in an engine, so I'd make sure it can't rub metal to metal anywhere.
Just my thots.

Not too sure what you mean guys, the little bolts i put on the saw blade with locktite are for looks only, and what are you implying when you ask if it needs to be sealed to the filter? And diamond dust? It was a brand new blade out of the package i bought that day.
i think they are concerned that
A the bolts could come loose and possibly enter the intake?
B those blades often have diamond dust glued to them to help them cut, some of it is glued well and some of it easily rubs off.... not something you want in your engine.
not sure if i am right or not but that was kinda my take on the comments

Exactly that. Hate to see some cylinders get "honed" by dust, but I think the way he has it on outside the backing plate of the filter, the only real danger is a.) air leaking thru the slots between the "teeth" of the blade, and b.) if there is any metal contact with the blade - sure to loosen diamond dust at first.
If any air can get thru the slots, then it has to get past the bolt heads that secure the filter, unless I miss any other openings - but the air passages in the high-flow filters can actually pass some pretty large particles themselves, depending on the oil to catch everything.
