The way those filter ares constructed, the blade has no affect on air flow at all. The filter has an outer steel shell that seals the intake from any kind of airflow, as long as the center mount bolt for the cover is plugged. Running the airfilter without the blade cover would have the same airflow.

Hey, nice job, dawg. Now put some acorn nuts on the backside - devil in the details, ya know?
Ace Hardware carries a good selection, including Stainless, which will polish out like chrome, but not rust on ya.
I'd go with allen heads for the bottom two.

Wish there were a noninvasive way to add a larger rear tier to my slim. Anyone with success ?

The Dunlop MU85B16 77H converts to 140/90B-16
