Ok guys I have a 07 deluxe that I change my own oil,I friend of mine bought a 02 fatboy,and wants me to help him change his oil in all three holes.Is the drain plug for the transmission in between the back shocks underneath,and does the bottom torzt bit on the primary cover take a number 27 bit?And is it three quarts for the motor oil,one quart for the transmission,and twentyfour ounces for the primary ,and did I forget anything,thanks for your help ,and have a good weekend!!! \\; Bill
Dude, I've tried to answer your thread three times and can't post.
The transmission plug is up between the shocks. \\; I break it loose with a 5/8" socket then back it out the rest of the way with an allen wrench. \\; The plugs can be a little tight on older bikes.
His bike has a primary inspection cover. \\;You can remove it to fill the primary. \\;It has four allen bolts.
 \\;
Three quarts of oil will be just fine.
