Default Removing broken reflector from front fork...

Has anyone ever needed to remove the small orange colored reflector off the front fork down near the wheel? If so, how did you get it off. It is very difficult to remove and I'm a little apprehensive about applying any type of solvents to it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Mine has become damaged and I need to replace it.

Thanks

I just yanked mine off, But it was around 90 degrees in the summer when I did it.
You can use a hair dryer to help loosen the double sided tape that holds it on. then yank it off.

You can use fishing line as a "Saw" and take it off that way also.

To clean off any sticky residue, use goo gone.

It will look alot cleaner with the reflector off. But if you chose to replace it , that is your choice.

Thank you, I'm off to get some fishing line and goo gone.

I use a product called "Goof-Off" (silly name). it works better than all of the other "Goo" remover products I've tried.

I just used a small screw driver to pry up the top corner of the reflector and applied the Goof-Off a couple of times...each time pulling the reflector off the fork a little bit farther.

Fishing line, hair dryer to heat it and WD40 will remove the glue residue.

Heat up with hairdryer & peel. Remove residue with 3M adhesive remover. Walmart carries it. Too easy.
