i put mine on a week ago no issues yet..
i didnt like the fit and finish too much tho. the gas cap your able to rotate the trim ring to get a nice fit all around..
the gauge on the other hand is almost predetermined where it goes because of the channels in the hole that it snaps into.. ive got about 1/8 gap between ring and tank at like 2oclock and 8oclock.
but does make the rocker tank look even longer and sleeker.
08 won't fit 07 bike, your gas reading will be wrong. Don't waste your money on this , it looks great but after a few months the gauge will start acting up. LED light will go on and off, tell you have no fuel with 4 gal. left in the tank.
After warranty expires, HD don't care that this product is defective but they keep your money anyway. I wish I never bought that gauge. I'm about to put the stock gauge back on. I'm sick of seeing those dots flashing for no reason.
