Default FLush Fuel Gauge Install

Has anyone installed these? I have an 06 night train. I have them installed , but im not sure where the grey wire goes ? Please help ..

The purpose of the grey wire is so that your new gauge will feed a continual power supply to the fuel low warning light in your speedo. You have to run it from under your tank up the front of the tank under the speedo housing and connect it as shown in your installation instructions. I don't recall which terminal you connect it to, but the instruction tells you.

You need to be careful with those Delphi connectors, too.

If you don't have one, get a shop manual. It will tell you where to land the grey wire. If I had it to do over again, I would cut the wire going into the connector and use a butt connector with shrink wrap to connect. Taking the wires out of that connector was not fun. The end result is worth it.

When I put mine on , the red (low fuel) light seemed to come on very early...like at 110 mile on a full tank. I just wondering how accurate they are....
