Carlini Flying Apes
I love their bars (have 14" Fly'in Apes) and the Diamond risers are works of art.... But me thinks they's gonna be slippey.
But I have had no problems with slipping.
Though I don't tend to 'hang' on my bars. I seem to be using my backrest more and more lately which really eliminates any 'Pulling' on my bars. But even without the backrest, I don't hang my weight on them.

My read is that one slip may be one too many. From a safety aspect. That sudden shift (depending how far they might slip) could cause a loss of control. Again, this is from an ape "newbie" so I could be completely off base...
I've never heard of any so sloppy that they move back and fourth while manuvering or such. That would be dangerous.
One reason I personally would not want a set screw, I ride in states where the law is hands are to be below shoulder height. Mine are just above my shoulders.
I imagine, never proven yet, if I'm getting pulled over I should be able to give a good strong tug to get them hands lowered.
So, procedure while being stopped is toss open container to one side of road, toss conceled weapon to other side of road, shove any drugs up my ****, tug on bars to get them to legal height.
