07 FLSTC with 2" RUSH from 1k till now 15.7k. Zero viberation anywhere with bike, I really dont see how the pipes could cause viberation unless mufflers are loose.
I think there you are having some other problem.
You dont say how many miles you have on your bike but it could be tire balance, spokes loose, loose axle bolts or shocks not adjusted with each other and dont rule out wind buffering from the windshield causing your problems. These are or should be checked at the 1-5-10 k check-ups.
The Rush mufflers will need to be repacked around 10-15k to bring the road cruise noise back down. I did mine at 14k and it is just like when they were new, deeep rumble at Idle and not too loud at road speed,,,,,,,still great sound when on them....
I started out with the 1.75" baffles. I could not get used to the crack, crack, crack in my right ear...call me old at just over 40...so I stepped down to the 1.5" baffles and couldn't be happier. They have a deeper tone than stock and still growl when you twist the throttle. As for vibration and the reason for your original post: none experienced. Good luck with your ride!
Take your baffles out, check them over. There maybe a small stone or something caught inbetween the baffle and head pipe thats rattling like a spray paint can.... lightly wd 40 the baffles on both ends and they will slide in easier. Make sure to align the slot correct to the bolt and screw placement,
