53K miles on my Deluxe and loving it. The scraping is not just with the floor boards, the nostalgic engine guards on mine meet the pavement during tight turns as well.

I am 6'5" tall and I ride a 05 softail deluxe, Ive only had this bike since xmas. I have found that on long rides that the top of my legs start cramping, and get really sore. I'm thinking about a taller seat and or moving my forward controls. On short rides the bike seams to fit pretty well. They don't seem to make a hole lot for tall guys like me.

The only problem with a Deluxe are the shotgun pipes require you use small bags. When I had them on my Nostalgia some people called them "purses". Someone else asked if I got them wet and they shrank. IMO Change the pipes or don't use the bags.

It took awhile for my wife to get used to the scraping, other than that her '07 is a great bike. One tip I have is if you have the factory bags and want to make them quick detach get "Barebacks". What a great product and well worth the money. I had to do something, she expects her bike to be clean and it took forever for me to remove the stock bags

That's an awesome looking bike you got. Love the paint, and the seat fits it well.

The Deluxe has that nostalgic look that both men and women are drawn toward. Chick bike... not necessarily... chick magnet... definitely!
