Couldn't agree with you more in terms of the 103. I have a great relationship with my dealer and they have a great reputation building motors. I got ripped off by an indy in our area, so I stay away from them now. Who's building your motor?
Like others have stated above, Head Quarters has an excellent reputation. If I'd ever scrape up that kind of coin they're the ones I'd go with. My dealer has also worked with their kits and says they're top notch.
Dave at JD's Cycleworks is doing mine. We haven't got all the specifics worked out yet, but it looks like it's gonna be an S&S crank, with T-Man cams and heads. Dave did my Stage One, and he's done a lot of my riding buddy's bikes, and the guy is top-notch.
A 107 was the original plan, but I couldn't justify the additional expense for a couple of horsepower. When I get 100,000 miles on this build, then I'll consider it.
