Default Your worst bike?

Well, most of us are on the road since quite a while. Myself, around 22 years, Always had a motorcycle, different makes though. My worst, by far, was an early shovel that I bought in Germany in 1995. A maniac who owned it before put it in a rigid frame, and you couldn't do 25 miles without major back injuries. The motor HATED me. I lost a small fortune trying to make it a reliable bike, but I failed miserably. After that, I was cured from HD for a bit, but got a stock FXSTC a few zears later, and it was the best ride I've ever had (well, after a few "minor" changes, another small fortune) I guess almost all of you made kinda same experiences. Just because I am a nosy bast***, I'd like to know wich bike was your biggest pain in the leg?

Worst bike was a 1982 Suzuki(gasp) gs650l I traded a broken car for. Wouldn't start when it was raining most of the time, blew and engine gasket, lots of work to keep it going and it was my only transportation. Of course this was in the 90's so it was a bit older and had been sitting for years.

This one is a no brainer for me .. Although loved it when it ran right ... 64 Triumph Bonneville .. Don't mention Lucas Electrics unless want to ruin my day .. After spending more time beside the road than riding trying to figure out whats wrong electrically this time, Sold it for about 1/2 what paid for it ..

I had a 73 Triumph Bonneville. Out of the seven street bikes, I've owned, it was my favorite one. Wish I had kept it.
My worst street bike was a POS Ducati,Sebring.

I have been pretty lucky with the purchase of motorcycles...can't say any particular one was that bad!!

If I had to pick a worst bike, it would date back to my days of dirtbikes...had a Kawasaki KX-80 that was "down" more than I rode it! By the time I had it running right, I outgrew the damn thing!

Hate to say it but a '76 Sporty. It looked awesome! Springer front, raked, chrome frame & swingarm, nothing original but the engine and trans. HOWEVER, the guy that rewired it ran wires with no covering such as loom and all I had was short after short. Left me sit everywhere. Then after that was taken care of, I needed a top end.

Finally, one Friday night me and wife get all fixed up to go partying and 5 miles from the house the one oil line blew off the crank case and oil shot all over wifey's new jeans.

BIKE GONE AFTER THAT !!

I never really had a bike that was a "problem child" but I had one that made me miserable to ride after 50 miles... lol.. Built a rigid with an '81 shovel in it.. Rigid mounted of course.. It was fun to ride around ATL but then we got the idea we would ride to Sturgis for the 50th.. No trailers for us damn it.. We were gonna ride.. Bad idea.. By the time I hit TN my back was broke and my hands and feet were numb.. By MO I was almost in tears.. By the time we hit SD I WAS in tears and knew there was no way I was ridin that thing home.. Told the guys either I was sellin it there or were were rentin a trailer for the return trip.. Got the trailer and sold it shortly after gettin home... LOL

no question about it; '04 yamaha rs warrior. left me stranded two times, two consecutive summers, several states away from home. first was a crank shaft sensor failure that a dealer in montana fixed. second was the bearing carrying the rear pulley shaft. that one almost made me crash after primary oil went all over my rear tire. that bike was fun, but it was out to get me!
