I have a slight miss that only happens about twice in the first mile of the day, after that everything is fine.
I bought the 06 Nightrain last year with only 600 miles on it. It came with a high flow air filter and Vance and Hines short pipes. I can only assume that they did a stage 1 when intalling the pipes. The dealer said I might want to go with the Fulepak. Other than the exhasut and filter I have not furture plans for mods.
Any recomendations on this and has anyone else had a miss until the engine gets warm. I do coast in netural out of my neighborhood which is about 3/4 of a mile so there is a slight warm up time.
I have an 08 Fatboy and it will do it sometimes when its cold and I do not let it warm up...I was told that it has to do with the fuel injection and the fact that it senses the exhaust temperature and the fuel mixture at the oxgyen sensors. The miss may be when it changes from closed loop to open loop. I know in the summer time it never misses and if I let it warm up enough it doesnt in the cooler weather..
I guess I should have been more clear on the mods, not plans for engine mods. As for the bike, it use to be a nightrain now I guess you would consider it a custom with all the chrome. I will get some pictures when my seat gets here Tuesday.
