ok just wondering if anyone out there has a trick to adjusting and centeriing the rear wheel .. I have the 06 fxsti with the 200 rear tire and it needs to be dead nuts or the tire is going to hit the belt guard ... why harley left no room in there is beyond me ... but if anyone one has an idea how to get this fix it would be a great help
cant remember totaly but i belive it was a measurement from thr swingarm pivot bolt to the axel should get the same on each side....................mines close too i put the metz 210 on but looks killer
I got like an 1/8'' of clearance .. I just wanted to make sure I didnt miss some stupid step .... I measured from the axel to the end of the swingarm and it seams right ... we will see ... oh and how the hell did you get a 210 on there . looks like there is no room for anything bigger the 200 is huge in that swing arm
from the center of the swingarm bolt to the center of the axel is the right way the measurement it and the blet should have 10lbs of pressure on it thats 1/2 to 1/4" up on the blet with the bikes wheel on the ground you can go a hair to the right if you have to. but don't go to tigth its not good for the blet.
thanks man ... I just got it all done up ... trying to get all the things I have been working on for a month done to day so I can ride down to bike week ...
