Default Part number help

I just bought a detatchable windshield for a decent price. I decided to puss out and get one for a trip I'm taking.

No docking hardware is included with it.

I think I have the right number for the hardware 57184-05

I can't seem to confirm though. Does anyone know?

Windshield is part# 57140-05

Thanks for the help!

That docking hardware part number 57184-05 does not come up on the H-D web site. The windshield part# 57140-05 is good for the following: '05-later FLSTN, '86-later FLSTC and '00-later FLSTF and '06 FLST models with or without auxiliary lamps. You may need to go to the dealer and get the individual misc parts for attaching to the forks etc. I didn't see anything in hardware that works with the above mentioned model/windsheild combo. There is an adapter part # 58270-02 for some applications but that doesn't look like what you need.

Thanks!

I verified by calling 3 different dealers. All gave me the same part number, so I'm going to order it and keep my fingers crossed.

Ya, not finding it on the HD website bugs me, but it seems they change their part numbers weekly anyhow.

$50 was a lot more than I was hoping for, but it's too late now.

With the amount of numbers they have to deal with on a daily basis, I can see where one would slip throught the cracks now and again. Wishing you well on this endevor.
