Wheel swap 2000 Softail ?
I have a 2000 Softail Standard and wish to swap out the rear spoke for a FatBoy solid rear wheel. My friend has one but it looks to be pre-99. I was told all I needed to do is get the proper bearings and I could use the wheel on my Standard. Is this true and has any one already try this swap?

If im correct the rims are totally different by the hub size and how the pulley and rotors mount on. Can it be done, probably but it would probably be easier to get one off of the same year or newer. Tons of companies sell bolt up wheels etc. Now if the bike it came off of is a twin cam chances are that it will be ok, but if its off of a evo then chances are its going to cost more than its worth. I havent done one or seen one but I know the hubs and mounting of rotors and pulleys are different.
