Default Scored a new rim!

I've been looking for a 21" wire spoke rim for my Deluxe. I wanted a 40 spoke so I could match my rear. With the 25mm front axle I wasn't having much luck. Found a couple, but the cheapest I saw was ~$385.

So last night, while browsing ebay, I found one. A 50 mile takeoff from a 2009 Night Train. Best part? $150 shipped! I am stoked!

I need to quit spending money, but now I need to find some apes. Will it ever end?

Must be a 21x2.15 if it came off a Train.

Is that going to be a direct replacement or is there anything else that needs to be done?

From talking to a few guys who have done it, with the proper rim (25mm axle) I should be able to put it straight on using my current spacers. Worse case scenario is I have some new ones CNC'd at work.

Sounds good. Keep us updated. This is something I have considered but still on the fence with it. This would be an easy cheap way to put the 21" up front.

And dont forget the pics.

Rim is shipping out on Monday, and I'm putting the chrome front end on my bike this week, so by the time it gets here I should be pretty close to putting it on.

Pics will definitely be forthcoming.
