Already got a crack in my paint ( Denim Black ) and was wondering if Harley is owning up to this as warranty . Thanks Dennis

 

I started a thread on this not too long ago. Check out my profile or do a search for "crack in black denim" or something along those lines.

Mine was on the rear fender and replaced with no questions asked. They had the painted part in within a week and then replaced once I had the time to make it in.

 

Sounds like a warranty issue to me. Hit up the dealer.

 

There has been a few other members on here who have had the same problem...and HD was owning up to it

 

yep, my oil tank's paint is cracking and the dealer tried giving me some phony excuse but in the end they agreed to replace it.

 

Keep us updated.

Dealer shouldn't give you a problem.

Let us know the final verdict.

 

Tell the dealer to go sh*t in his hat and give you a new tank.
