The wind affects your eyelids when the wind hits. The only real way to remedy the situation is to duct tape your eyelids open. A large piece of duct tape applied to your forehead should suffice.
This Bastid is Crazy!!
Ya' gotta love the colorful cast of Characters up in here.
have you considerd the new memphis shades batwing?? some on the forum here have it and like it?
Yes I have considered it, but their website is BRUTAL, and I cannot determine whether or not I need to relocate my front signals. Do I have to? AND ALSO, I don't have a light bar on the front? Do they have a Batwing that fits a stock front-end?

I've had the opportunity to ride a couple bikes with fairings and windshields. The buffeting was horrible, I hated it. Having the music was the ONLY plus for me. I'm better off without. Hope you get your situation figured out.
The only thing I can say is I got a Windvest while I was in CA. and I love it. I can see and it keeps the wind off of me and it is adjustable and simple.

+1 on the Windvest. Keeps the wind off your head and chest. Looks clean and can be detached easily but I leave it on. Their customer service is exemplary.
I'm seriously considering a Windvest, but I can't figure out which height to get (14" or 16"). I've heard that a 16" adjusted down so that it nearly touches the headlight is the way to go.
Mine is 16 inches and the way it's adjusted it's about 1/2 or so above the headlight housing. It's a "light smoke" in color. I am about 5-9 or 5-10, my seat is stock. When I was in CA. the owner installed it with me sitting on the bike and I've left it the way he put it on. If you want a picture up close I can email it, I think.
