I also put them on my Sporty in 94 and liked them so I put them on my fatboy. I have the 422 set to lower it 1.5" and I am very happy with them. Overal I think my bike rides better and handles much better than it did with the stock shocks
I just did the 422s on my Train. I'm a little over an inch lower than stock, and the ride is better than stock. You can only do so much with the Softail suspension geometry, but the Progressives are money well spent, and a relatively easy install.

They were less than $400 shipped, and it's a 4-bolt install. It took me about 3 hours start-to-finish. Now that I've done it, I could do it again in less than 2. It's not as simple as an oil change, but it's really not difficult.
