Default lowering front end questions

I got my lowering kit for my fatboy today, so I started to tear it apart..
My instructions are not very detailed, and I had a couple questions.

1. What is the trick to get the all screw out of the bottom of the fork? and is it necessary to get it out to dissamble?

2. what length should my pvc spacer be, and what little spings should I put in to get maximim lowering?

3. How much fork oil in each fork should I use??

thanks for the help..

The famous bottom bolt .
I have an FXST, and different forks, but those stupid bolts put me in a loop, search the forums, the maker 'SHOWA' is actually using Metric bolts !
Not only this, but you will need a torque driver socket to get that bolt out or it will just rotate with the internals as in my own self sad execuse for a wrench case .

I lowered my wife's Dyna using the progressive kit, instructions weren't brilliant but I managed to work through it, I did a search on here before to find out how much oil before I started, I have taken the bike out myself and it has made the front end seem a bit heavier when cornering at slow speeds but i should imagine lowering the bike must change the rake slightly
