Personally I love my Rocker just the way it is and hope they don't change it. I never understood why the heartland kit is so popular. It simply takes the gap from the seat and fender and puts in between the tire and fender and at great expense. Unless you want to ride a rigid there has to be a gap somewhere. I put the standard Rocker seat on my bike which made me sit lower and closed the gap and I'm extremly happy with it. For around $ 100 ( E-bay ) it looks great. With the heartland kit you lose the fender on the tire look which I love. Just MO.
Obviously there are a gazillion (that's more than a couple) guys happy with their Rocker seat/fender combo. However, there seems to be quite a number of us that like the Heartland style seat/fender on the Rocker. I'm just saying "Maybe the MOCO could take a survey, and also include a Rocker in that style". It could be the FXXX&XXX.
It's plain to see that folks like different things in their bikes (and their naked girls), (I already know what you're gonna say austinharley).
So if the survey comes back with enough support, they could offer something like that.
But whether I start with the Softail Custom, or the Rocker, and then go from there, I should be able to end up with what I'm after. I'm just looking to start out with what is closest to what I want.
