From: 40 miles Northeast of Indy..
Three Yrs ago there wasn't t-max, at least I didn't know of them, or PC-V's, so I went with SERT, cause I knew I was going cams sometime..
so far I've spent, $330 for unit, 2 1/2 hrs @$65. an Hr in 07, for install and Dyno $162.50.= $492.50
Then this spring did cams, Winter deal included free dyno, so 2nd tune = $00
So, so far I have spent $492.50 on two tunes and unit.
I'll admit I dont know nor read much on the newer auto tune units.
Aslo have heard the new SSERT is not the same as the SERT HD used to sell.
Don't plan on any other motor work till a top end job, then heads, and maybe new pipes, and of course it will need tuned again...
So to do it over, though completely happy now, with the price of newer units, I give the auto tunes a really good look.
