Why did Harley stop making the Deuce?
That statement is as sad as listening a fat, ugly chick reassuring herself that she is beautiful on the inside in order to make herself feel better despite the obvious.

I got my rim back from the powder coater this weekend. I'm going to work on getting it put on next week.
What color did u get ur rim powder coated?
your bike is sweet
his is a little to over done for my taste. I can appreciate all that went into it, but black and chrome see right at home on a bike
Everyone has their style going here. Really doesn't matter, just thought I would show some respect and appreciation for a bad *** bike. The Deuce can be done up with the best. As far as looking like something else, to me it absolutely does not look like anything but a Harley Deuce cherried out and done up with Drag bars. Not sure where you got your motorcycle goggles from. Maybe you just started riding.
Anyhow, peace. to eaches own.
There is nothing wrong with my statement that most of us think that our bikes look better than everyone else's. I don't mean to say that it's a fact that mine is a better looking bike...but it is better looking to ME which is why I own it versus whatever motorcycle is being discussed. Yes. I THINK MY BIKE LOOKS BETTER THAN MOST WHICH IS WHY I OWN IT. I think most people feel the same way. It is not a statement of fact. It is not a rag on anyone for riding a Deuce or anything else. It is what it is.
I also responded the way I did because everyone was getting all defensive over people answering honestly to a question that was asked. No one including me just came out and started this thread to say how ugly we think the Deuce is. On the other hand, were you all thinking that everyone was going to say something like "Yeah! Why DID they stop selling it? It was the BEST looking Harley EVER!" And I didn't think anyone was singling anyone specific out but speaking about the model in general. I sure as hell haven't been on any Crossbones forum (or Rocker forum, or whatever other model forum) and seen NOTHING BUT LOVE being laid out. So why the hell can't people be honest on a Deuce forum without being told something silly that there is no way possible our Harley could look better than the Deuce?
So again, I stick to my answer to a question asked; the Deuce really is a bit boring and does look like a Honda. Obviously lots of people think so or they would be rolling out the 2013 right about now. You can argue against that all you want but then why is there a discussion about why they are no longer made...?
And for future reference; if no one wants their feelings hurt about what they ride then don't post threads asking for opinions about what they ride. Or maybe add a disclaimer that reads "Positive Comments ONLY, Please."
The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Seems to me that the Honda tried hard to copy the deuce. I actually never knew that, but I looked up the Hond Fury and it came out in 09? The Deuce was produced from 1999-2005. Pretty long stint for the Deuce with Harley... 6 years is pretty good.
The fury is just another wanna be. It looks ok, but like most of those bikes still look cheap. Nobody would say a Fatboy looks like a Boulevard... it's the opposite, just like the it is for the fury.
Anyhow, happy riding to all the bros. No matter what hell you ride.
