In 2004, I was riding a 1997 Lowrider,(loved that bike) but wanted to upgrade from the Evo to the twin cam. I had 1 bike at the time and my wife rides with me. I was looking hard at the Deuce. Thought it was just so fine, but then I turned around to spot a Big Dog Chopper. I fell head over heals in Love with and drove it home that day. Have never regretted that choice. Love the Dog. But I have 2 friends who have dueces and I admire them as well as the Rocker. If My wife didn't ride with me, I probably would have to look hard at a rocker c. But the explosive power of the dog is just so extreme. 127HP. Yes that's on the Dyno! But I also have the Ultra now. So I have the best of both worlds.

Did someone say ugly Deuce?

It's on it's way. I have a 17x6 softail custom rim at the powder coater's that's going on the rear when it gets back. Tax time is bringing a shotgun shock. After that I'm getting a fat spoke 23" front wheel and maybe a slightly more raked out triple; it'll be lowered about 2"-3" in the front at the same time. Somewhere in all that it's getting "painted" with a white base and black designs covering the tins. Oh, and all the chrome will be powder coated flat black.

That statement is as sad as listening a fat, ugly chick reassuring herself that she is beautiful on the inside in order to make herself feel better despite the obvious.
You may not like the color scheme, not like the style of bike, might not like the wheel choice, thats why we live in America, but to call the bike "ugly", well all I can say is 28 first place awards, including an easy riders win, a moto expo win, and a whole lot of other big bike show wins, not to mention a number of 2nd and 3rd place finishes in big shows. 5 mag articles including twice in hot bike, one in v-twin and one in hot bike works, used in 6 photo shoots for various things, I'd say your opinion of ugly is in a vast minority, if and when you get some major support for the bike you ride, which by the way looks very nice,(except for those ugly reflectors!!) I will congratulate you on the work you've done, if in fact you did it. but the nerve to call this bike ugly, or any other one, that you don't approve of, I must have failed to see your credentials of bike judge for the masses, you seem to not know what you're talking about, and better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

I've always considered the Deuce pretty homely, particularly because of that rear fender. I have to admit though, after seeing some with Shotguns and cast wheels, they've got potential to look pretty bada$$. Harleycharlie, yours is SLICK!
