Love the shorty windsheild that came with my 09 Heritage. It is a touring and seasonal accessory for me. In the winter, it rarely comes off, and in the summer it rarely goes on. Too damn hot here in the summer for windsheild. Been 100 degrees since 4th of July. It does take time to get used to the windblast when I have been using the sheild all winter.

Depending on my mood and type of riding im going to do, I have 3 choices. Run naked, run with the stock detachable windshield or run with a detachable Fairing with stereo. The great thing about our bikes are flexibility and ease of changing it up now and then for whatever reason.
