Dunno. Wanna say I like the way Dakerb is looking on that slammed Train. The fvcker has a big poop eating smile a mile wide.
I want that smile too. Poop is good.
Damn.
lol.
2 under on the tubes and the lowering kit. I didn't double up the lower springs, took the stock spring out and put the lowering kit one in. It is a larger spring so it lowers it a tad more. I'll be putting the stock one in soon. I hope. Right now, when I have the time, it's either work on the ride or go for a ride,,, I'm riding. I was telling Chaz to check out the Salinas Bros Customs. Those bikes are slammed.
Freefall I didnt notice how chopperesque the fork is on your bike.....The hot looking gal (Your wife?) always commanded me away from the photo of your bike!!
You do need slammage....You need it bad Freefall.
Yeah, I'll get the front dropped one of these days.
Thanks for the feedback.
When you say you will be putting the stock spring back in? Why???
Is your goal to raise it back up Kerby? Does it ride like Chit now?
Why dont I get it?
I'm a fvcking spaz.
I'm thinking lowering spring kit that drops the bike just 1". Then the short tubes. Will I be where you are now with that combo? Higher or Lower?
There are two springs in the tube. A long one and a small one. When you take the sliders off you'll see the small one. It's what the two in drop the kit offers, you double up the stock and the kit spring that will get you the full two inch drop. I'll see if I can find a picture.
Pain meds alone you were doing fine Bob. Its when ya' mixed em with that bottle of Whiskey that everything went south!!
Sent a PM to Dakerb. The tubes are only $145 shipped for nice chromed ones....They even come with new seals. Which I need anyhow.
Gonna wait and see what Dakerb says.
Chaz, can you do me a favor? What is the length between the top of your lowers rubber cap to the bottom of the tree with the pinch bolt? I put in the 2" progressives as well and want to compare my distance to yours. Yours looks lower and I can't get over why mine doesn't look as low. thanks!

Dale
6" 1/8" sitting still, drops about half inch or so with my fat greedy burger eating *** onboard and drops to 4" on the nose under hard braking or hitting a big bump.
Whats yours?

OK...Now I know why I was cornfused. I have the Progressive kit that uses three springs for the 2" drop.
Makes sense now. Are you wanting to lift yours back up a bit?
