Wondering if a weak or failing battery would cause running issues on a 1997 fatboy? My bike stumbles, chokes out or hesitates under acceleration and it also appears the battery is going out...just wondering if the two are related...thanks!

 

maybe a carb tune up ,clean it out and re-build it . tune the bike up.
also check the inginition and change the battery.
the battery will not cause poor performance but the ecarb and ign will.
.you might of gotten some real bad gas .
