Default Heritage passing lights

I want to re-wire my passing lights to stay on while the headlight is on high beam. My dealer tells me not to do this because it will drow too much juice. Is this true or is it bull. I work nights and ride home about 3:00 am. I want all the lights I can get!!

I really don`t know about that, but if thats the case. Why not get a set of the driving lights that HD has and put them on the bike ? Ride safe and often !

I'm sure if it will draw to much juice but here is a good way to wire it https://www.hdforums.com/m_54142/tm.htm

Both of my bikes, (Sportster and Deluxe) have been wired this way. I haven't had the Deluxe long yet, but so far no problems. My Sportster has never had a problem and it's been that way for four years. It's still on the original five year old battery and never even been on a battery tender. I always ride with my brights on during the day, so I wanted the passing light to stay on then too. But I know nothing 'bout electricity.
