Went to the dealer again to check out the bikes, rode the new 2010
Fat boy lo, great ride! Like the low feel of the seat. Just not sure of the black denim, would prefer the vivid black. I guess I would also consider the Fat boy or the Heritage, dealer won't have a vivid black FB lo for a few weeks. Decisions, decisions.........
In my completely unbiased opinion...you should go with the Heritage. However, these bikes are not similar in the least bit, so you WILL KNOW which one you want when you ride them both. The E-Glide has more comfort items, so if that's what you are into, then go with that bike. You can go from bare-bones to touring with the Heritage depending on how you set it up right out of the box. It's your bike, so you make the call!

Looking more at rhe Heritage and the Fat boy, also drove the new Fat boy lo and like it alot, except for the denim; would consider the vivid black. the heritage choice would also be the vivid black. Like the the ride on the softail, currently have a dyna super glide.
I'd choose the Heritage. I haven't riden the standard but i've tried the street glide, road glide & ultra, all nice bikes but lack the feel of the softail.
