I would imagine the biggest part of the handlebar cost is installation. I wonder how many hours it took your dealer, or did you do the mods by yourself? My dealer charges $55 per hour.

You're correct there. My dealer, who charges $90/hr (hey, it's Los Angeles!), quoted me 4 hours for the job including running the wires through the bars. Luckily, I found a competent indy who did it for $165. It only took him about 1.5 hours to do the whole thing -- the dealers WILL rip you off (now there's a surprise). Actually, though, at just $55/hr, you can't go too far wrong.
I dropped my bike off today to get my chrome front end put and spoke to my wrench about it..... He said jus guessing it run about 165.00 in labor. I guess that will be next project.... I think he charges around $35.00 an hour.
