Yup I got one, works excellent, no fear of bike tipping over and solid as can be. Very nice piece of craftsmanship too! Comes practically totally assembled. Only took me a couple of minutes to put it together.
Has nice action of lifting the bike and depositing it again. None of that nonsense of shoving the jack in place under the bike with your right foot while you are balancing the bike. You'll love it!

I just purchased a Larin MAL-2C for $160 shipped...in arrest me red.

Looking forward to trying it out...

I couldn't buy the Sears "Red" version as it won't fit under my Xbones. The Sears "Yellow" would fit...and is about $170, but didn't seem too stable when I checked it out at Sears.

I use my jack more on the Jeep. Works great for moving axles around and working on the transmission and t-case of a lifted Jeep. Would be hosed without it.

Here it is holding up the rear of my Jeep during the axle swap. It will raise the whole Jeep

W00T! I have a jeep as well, seems Harleys and Jeep ownership is often combined....

Good choice for the money IMHO. BTW: I have never used straps with it. You would need straps if removing the front tire or front end. However a block under the back tire will X out the use of any straps when removing anything heavy up front. Safety first though but that's up to you. Danger is my middle name.... No straps to date....

Jeeps and bikes? are there other vehicles?

As for red craftsman, I have one, it lifted my road king ok (haven't tried to lift te cross bone yet)
had to stand the bike up to get the jack under
didn't use straps
didn't seem to unstable(would never have tried getting on the bike with it in the air!!!!
recently the bottle jack seems to have lost its lift, could be air trapped (I hang it on the wall)
I originally got it for my atv so I wasn't worried about how low it would go, if I ever get the room I would probably pick up something that goes lower.

No straps used and was up on jack for a few months over winter. I did use old rotors to stable the rear but no straps on the sears red jack. It is held up by the locks and not the bottle jack. I have removed front and rear assemblies with bike lifted and no straps. I don't recomend it but I do practice that a good deal.
