Quick question, I am getting ready to order some pipes for my 09 Train. There are two different part numbers. One that will only fit 07-09 w/O2 sensors the other fits only to 06 w/ no O2 sensors. Well I am going to run a PC-V and I am pretty sure that it uses a bypass system and the O2 sensors are removed. The first set of pipes is about 100 bucks cheaper (must be an expensive "bung").
So I guess my question is there any difference in the actual fitment of the pipes (i.e flanges) that would make me have to use the more expensive pipes with ugly bung covers?
Sweet thanks for the help the 100 bucks I save will go to pay for the PC-V. While we are on the subject have you guys heard anything about "skirt blowers" from paul yaffe? I think they look the ****, I just hope I dont lose to much power over a two-into one. But I always have an Aprilia if I wanna go fast!
if u get the pc5 with autotune you'll need the o2 to bungs for the sensors...and depending on the bung location/position in the pipe could cause fitment issues cause of the longer o2 sensors...in d case of tmax it uses wide-band sensors (bosch) which are longer than the stock narrow-band...probably this is also true for pc5...
you may want to check the pipe diameter because some older models were smaller because the engine size changed. they will fit. auto tune is great so consider that in the future. also you can buy the bungs and have them added.
