I open them up and guess what....inside are the original black take-offs. I have sent them an e-mail requesting a refund and a return shipping address...hopefully they come through.
Now back to looking for the real CHROME parts....[:@]
Oh man, I bet you were pissed!!!! [:@] They listed in the auction that they were chrome~~~>scammers!!!! I buy alot on ebay and luckily ever thing has perfect...but I only buy from 100% feedback too.
Keep us updated on the refund...if they do it or not!
Sorry about your day
That sucks..... Sarge my I suggest you look at feedback a little closer..... That seller had 11 neg feedback in the last year. That would have been a RED flag to me.
If a seller has more than 3 I usually want bid....... Good luck getting your dollars back!!!!!
read that guys most recent feedbacks man, he's got problems
2 complaints in recent weeks? no good
i hope you paid with paypal so you get a refund.
only give them a week to make good, then file a complaint, with paypal first
eBay will frezze up their accounts faster then you think.
i sell on ebay often, and dont mess around
Yeah....probably got raped. I did look at their feedback but mostly saw slow shipping, not a big deal to me since everything I get takes forever here in Germany. I should have known it was a deal too good to be true....what a price [&o] I e-mailed them this afternoon and will continue to do so. If Paypal doesn't get it back, then I will get my bank to reverse the transactions.
It just pisses me off that now I have too delay my handle bar transformation longer
DAMN!!!! But hey, I did get in the chrome switches today.....thinking positive...
I am not defending the seller, however if you look at the seller ID it is probably just an Ebay re-seller. There are a lot of these guys setting up a storefront drop off Ebay seller store.
Everyone has seen the ads on TV about working for yourself and making all kinds of money using the internet. Hell, Ebay themselves promote it.
Look at all the junk the seller has sold. It is just a listing and shipping service that makes a commision on each sale.
The seller probably doesn't know a chrome Harley part looks like.
I was thinking they were a reseller also since the word DIXON after the header. That is probably who they are selling it for. I just hope they correct this on behalf of the real owner.
don't feel bad dude, that happened to me about a year ago. I bid on a smoked lens kit, seller had the right picture, then sends me in th email amber lenses (stock) I got my dough back, turns out this dude just sells lots of stuff & says he didn't know much about harley. had good feedback, guess I was just unlucky.
I am going throuh the same thing! I ordered a rear sprocket (249.00...) over a month ago. Now they
have changed names(chrome_lotus_wheels..old name) and said the company has been sold. I have sent
countless numbers of emails and they will not respond. Now I don't even need the sprocket and can't
get my money back!!!![:@]
