Alignment issue with inverted forks on my Softail

Front wheel should be .250 to the right side as well as the fender. Front and rear don't line up either by design. If you are running the same tire that was on the bent frame most likely that's the cause. Wear pattern won't agree with the new position. Center of pressure might be offset through the tires centerline. If you are running the 200 mm tire on the back it is also offset .500 to the right. Straight edge alignment should show this difference when the rear is straight to the front.. They don't and never will line up and this is normal. Again it's the 200 mm tires on 07 softails.

Just out of curiosity, have you (OP) ridden the bike, or are you relying on the dealer's word? Also, is this insurance work? If it is, don't worry about the "why" and just tell them to fix it.
