Alignment issue with inverted forks on my Softail

Well there you go....Live and learn.

Just out of curiosity, have you (OP) ridden the bike, or are you relying on the dealer's word? Also, is this insurance work? If it is, don't worry about the "why" and just tell them to fix it.
