baffles?

You shouldn't need torque cones with the Hooker's. They already have a stepped head pipe to provide the same benefit as the torque cones. Pull the baffles and try it out. If they are too loud cut the baffles in half and and use just the half baffle. You can also use a bolt with a nut the length of the pipe diameter in the baffle attachment hole for a splitter to provide some extra back pressure and have the sound of no baffles. Hooker's have a deep loud sound without the baffles.

you know i think ur right...they have that stepped up pipe...i ran it around the neighborhood with no baffles...sounds mean as hell....nice and loud but DEEP tone...no popping either...sounds awesome

i think i'll leave it the way it is for now...hookers and no baffles...i love it!

The thundermonster baffles are not much more than the old screw and washer trick like I did in my pipes (pic below). I was actually pretty suprises at how well the pipes do off the line. It also got rid of some of the annoying sound my pipes made but the loudness is still there (if that makes sense LOL).

Cutting the baffles in half also works rather well.
