The're cheap but they do work. If those are not to your liking, you can always get a different kind.
Yep definitely what I had in mind and my husband has added that to my stocking.

Sometimes the simplest solution is also the cheapest.
Not often, but sometimes, and maybe you won't have to wait for him to find his strap wrench next time you run into a stubborn jar.

(i know , the real answer is that they can sell the kit after purchase and make more bucks . it's a shame they have better parts than stock but won't install them when they build the bike . same goes for seats and bars on quite a few models . i understand air cleaners and exhaust pipes , they need to meet emission requirements)

Because......... U must have an older bike and they didn't have it when Ur bike was made... does that make sense.....They came out with it on the 06-07's (?), and then made kits for upgrades for the earlier ones.

As far as the seat and Bars.. the ones on my bike fits great and I love them, haven't had to change them and if I did I'd get the stocker again.....

I bought a bike that fits me.... not the other way around....

my last bike was a '78 low rider , and i thought the seat was very good . i did change the air cleaner and pipes and the bars within 6 months of purchase .

i was basing my comments on what i've read here and elsewhere , seems a lot of people are unhappy with the stock seat and bars (although the bats may be more a style thing with some)
