Yours is a cable actuated clutch, on page one, first picture, you can see the clutch cable go into the gearbox.

hey guys been a long long time. so I'm a up date this cause i have something to say.

bought the bike in December 2009. its now May 22, 2010...

the hold up was with JPcycles. i needed a new coil (and floor boards), couldn't find one on ebay or local craigslist. had a new friend order from JPcycles. Well first the wrong part(s) came in. and sent em back. Honestly i don't know if my friend messed up or they did. either way it wasn't bad. just send em back and get the correct parts. right....?

first having them get to the return took some time for whatever reason. had to do couple follow up calls. i didn't mind so much. we ordered the right coil. and waited. and waited...

had my friend call them cause he did the order right... they said was on back order but they had the correct floor boards.

well about 2 months later i was still waiting for the coil. every time one of us called they only said 7-10 days. well when i asked further they were on back order too. again 7-10 days. I started thinking my new friend pulled a fast one and took my money. but how could he he hooked me up with all my other parts. i had a feeling he was not at fault.
finally i called JP myself and acted like i was a new order. they were taking my order down with out a problem and i asked if they had the coil in stock. they said no. I asked more questions and more questions about back orders. finally he said they need 10 orders to order from the after market supplier... DOH.

thanks for telling me JPcycles!!!!!! I'M PRETTY SURE THERE IS A HIGH DEMAND OF coils for fuel injected bikes.

we waited some more hoping that there was more orders.

finally i canceled the order and get it from the local Harley dealer that also had to back order from the mainland. but i got the part today. and it wasn't that much more. a few bucks!!! my friend hooked me up with his discount. i was originally told it was over $100+. and could save 40 with jp. fat chance was a waste of time.

anyways i have all the parts i need. I'm going to give it to my mechanic and get the hog home. Still not sure what to do with the damage tank. should i paint it, get the emblems? or just leave it for now and save money...

I'll take pictures of things when i see the bike.

so... if you order from JP cycle first ask if its in sock...and when they tell you its on backorder ask them if they got enough orders to get you your part on time. when i asked they told me they don't know... wasted literally months of my time... and i missed some good rides.
