Once you go fix up a beater bike that people thought was worth crap, you never go back? Or something like that?

Well, I m kind of thinking that if he gets it running right and looking good, why not sell ,if he can make a profit. As long as the repairs were done right.

Bud, the floorboards will interchange with just about any stock Harley touring or Softail. The years range from ... crap early 90's all the way up to now. Is this bike EFI? If so, check the bottom of the tank, and see if you have one or two lines coming from it. I can't remember if it still has the older injection system. If it has one hole, I have a tank here that has a small dinger in it,that would be easy to fix. Hell, I'd paint it black for you too. You gonna keep the stock color or just go black. Cause you know what they say.

I live on a small island. i can't afford to go bullishing someone about the bike if i do sell it. i'm a be strait about how i got the bike and more important what i fixed. there is nothing for me to gain by BSing here.
I haven't ridden in years and this bike is bringing the bug back. MY wife is pregnate and money is tight. but i hope to get my sportster out of probate and into my name so me and my wife can ride together. thats what i hope.
but with times being tough i'll easily sell this bike for my unborn kids. (twins)
