I have been considering replacing the stock seat on my Deuce with a Corbin solo. My wife really isn't interested in riding along with me - and that suits me fine. I'm not interested in having a passenger.
I like the "slammed" look of the solo seat - especially on a Deuce. Question is, is the solo comfortable for day-long rides or limited to only short boulivard cruising? I like having a stylish ride, but there is only so much comfort these old bones are willing to give up.
I have the Corbin Classic solo and so does a friend of mine. Mines on a softail and his is on an E-glide. They are definitely comfortable for a day long ride IMHO. He loves his as well and we both want to get the detachable backrests when we go on our week long ride in June.
Thanks Ryan ... The backrest is a real lifesaver on the long ride - our club goes 200-300 miles on a Sautrday and somethimes the same on Sunday each week so comfort is in. Too bad there's a hole in the fender for the pilon seat otherwise I would not have spent the $$ cover the thing with leather! oh well!
