Default Rear fender screws

Can somebody help me. I have a hard time to remove the screws that hold the rear fender, since they are coated with some kind of screw lock. Is there any easy way, instead of brute force and stripping the screw heads?

THey are tight. I have had a problem with them too, but have never had any strip or break on me.

Brute force worked for me, never felt like they wanted to strip you just have to break em. I layed a thick blanket over the rear trying only to expose the part I was working on in case the wrench broke free and careened towards some paint while dropping a nut trying to loosin them.

"Careened towards some paint"....I like that line. Man it seems everything I do on my bike something tries to careen into my derned paint!!

OP...Use a longer ratchet on those bolts.

Red loctite. Heat helps. Be careful how you ask the next question.

I would suggest a "cheater bar" too....just grab a piece of EMT pipe preferably around 2-3' and that will give you plenty of leverage. No need to heat it up with the cheater bar.
