Hi can anyone tell my HD's part number for the 2 screw inserts that have to be fitted into the frame rails,
if you replace the standard seat on a 06 heritage FLSTi with a seat off a heirtage FLSTC (you know the one
with the leather and studs around the edge) it's got 2 screws on the side of the seat that go into the frames, these screws are not fiitted on the FLSTi, seat.
The holes are in the frame but are to big and need inserts to be fitted, looks the same as the one in the rear fender that hold the bum pad in place but a bit bigger?
I live in England and getting small part numbers is a nightmare! can anyone Help?
I just ordered the part you were talking about. I got them from WWW.Zanottimotor.com. % bucks for 1 insert. I ordered 2. The harley part number is 52720-00A. Nut Seat Retention
I may have ordered the only ones they have, but at least you can check with some local dealers to see if they have any in stock. Hope this will give you what you need.
