Most SOLID riser bushings needed!!
I'll shoot you that PM and we can talk a bit... http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/produc...fCatId=&mmyId=
Solid as a rock now.
I have the same ones. Got them after dealing with getting the wrong bushings when I did my bar swap. Will NEVER go back to anything but solid bushings on any bike I own. The may vib a little but nothing that stands out anymore than any other vib on the bike lol. I got mine at my local dealer for like $13 or something...
First, I'm going to try spinning them up myself out of aluminum. Possibly a close "copy" in the shape of the stockers. I'm going to try to design these so I can use the cool chrome top washers I already have. (Gotta have the bling ya know!)
OR...
I've got a few parts left to order and maybe I'll just just put a set on my list. At +/- $14.00, the loss won't be that great if they aren't to my liking.
Wouldn't it be nice if the bushing manufacturers included a durometer spec with their poly and rubber bushings? The higher the number, the harder the bushing, the less they flex... Sounds almost too simple... Oh well, just thinking out loud again.
Side Bar: Phase #1 of my build is kind of stalled right now. Tins need to go to paint, parts need powdercoat, tail light needs to be figured out and a new solo seat is a must... Oh yeah... winning the lottery wouldn't hurt either!!
Thanks again Folks!!!
