Looks great i'm looking to do the same conversion i looked at the dimensions of the wild1s compared to HCC dimensions wild1s were 12.5 pull back and HCC were only 7.5 not really sure what that exactly means but i'm 6'1 which would you guys think would be a better fit?
jestrada, Bill shows what he wants the customer to measure to get bars they'll be happy with.
Grab a friend to help get the measurements to have a better idea of which bars offer the ride you want. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KahEt...0a88f5fbcb7287

I am 5'11 and run HCC 16 in...they come about shoulder height and are very comfortable.
So i was going to order my apes from HCC i wanted double check and make sure these bars would fit so i emailed the customer service asking about dimensions and fitments if i need anything special for my bike, the response i got back was "these are the only bars we offer" i'd say there customer service is lacking a bit but i hear they have a good product from what i've hard on here. with that said i've pasted the link below of the bars i was looking to buy does anyone know if these would fit my bike with minor customization if any? are all springer front ends the same, if it says springer ape will if fit my bike? I have a 2005 spinger classic Thanks for all the help guys
I'm purchasing what I need to do the same job. Thanks for the step by step and even the list of tools you used. If I have any questions I'll definitely come back to this post
