Nice springer. How are the drags better? just curious. I am real undecided on my bars so any input is good. I've looked at all the options in the thread so far and I'm still not real sure. How do you like rollin' with no front fender?
I like it, sucks when you go through water though, other than that dont feel like the bike makes me look 70 anymore. I just feel like i have more control over the bike with the drags.
Put 6k on my bones with a couple long trips. Stock baby apes have been pretty comfy , but a little numbing on the arms from being up
in the air somewhat.
Went to Bad Boy bars ( a superbike bar bend in essence ) with the bad boy 4inch risers.
Went for a ride and me like-ee better.
Now I am very slightly bent forward (much better for your lower back ) and feel more in controll of the handling....like I want to attack curves. My wrists are in a more natural position (flatter) and holding the throttle open is much easier. Ergonomically, this is a great set-up.
Apes and all out drags are for profiling. All depends on what kind of riding you preferr. Do you want comfort and controll? Copy me......

I guess this is probably personal preference on the bars. I like what I like but it is probably what some people hate, I hate what some people like. Like neons on a harley, I hate them. Beach bars are cool but I like them on classics. Good luck with your decision but pick what makes you happy, not everyone else. I know I did, my wife hates my apes.
