Question then doc (not being sarcastic). After I put on 2" slip-ons, my spark plugs were chalky-white and my eng was running very hot. No other mods at the time. It would not have hurt my eng? The stealership told me with it running that hot it would fry my eng from heat and void my warranty. I understand they want me to do it so they can get more $$, but an indy also told me the same.

If your plugs are white and chalky you need to take it in.

I did. Cost me little north of $1100 for the SERT, Stage-1 cleaner, and dyno run. Counting the $200 for the slip-ons, ran about $130 per horse added. Yup, I (still) felt a little sore in the bum for that one. Saw me comming for sure. But, that extra 10 horses is nice. Now I can almost keep up with my buddys punched out (to 95) 88 rk.

Should get the 6hp just by changing the pipes...
I'd think U'd be lucky to get and other 6&6 out the stg1,, My dealer told me I'd get 10&10, before doing it... then after doing it, it ended up more like 6&6 or so, then they said oh.. thats normal.... chit the pipes alone is worth 5hp.
I really didn't even notice much difference in power after stg1, but it ran smoother and responded better..
When I did the cams was when I noticed a big difference,, the 96's stock cams are really holding them back....
