A long day and into the night, too. I've never ridden to Tahoe so at least that part should be fun.

Or a harder butt...

Hey Drew, should we go on a shake down run before the real thing? Maybe in May?

Gonna do an IBA 1000 on my Cross Bones this July. The start is in Brattleboro, Vt. Head up to Burlington, Vt. Over to Augusta, Me. Then down 95 to Providence, RI. West thru Hartford, Ct & back up thru Ma to Brattleboro. 4 others with me, but most of the others will be on their "Geezer Glides". We're figuring - based on past HOG members input - that it'll be about 19 hours...
58 year old Iron Butt 1000 on a Softail...Gotta do it.

I'm doing one from my house here in OK to my home town in northern Minnesota in May, paperwork and all. Like it was said, documentation helps. I know a lot of riders that have said that they have gone the distance but have nothing to back it up, just fake *** stories to me. The IBA certificate on the wall definitely helps with that.

Hey Doc, you got any ideas on where to go/how long to go for - for the test run?
