I would have to agree with Dustmaker, there are alot of great bikes on here and in my opinion, definately ones that are better ones than mine. This is a great resourse of inspiration on what can be done to bikes.
But for physicall proof on this, I went to the Trifecta Custom Bike Show Sunday for Arizona Bike Week. After some encouragement from my wife and my buddies, I entered my bike in the competition under the softail category. I still don't think it is ready since there is more I still need/want to do to it. There was one guy in the category that spent the whole time polishing and showcasing his bike to the crowd. They called the winners and my bike took first place (I was definately shocked). Needless to say this pissed the guy polishing his bike to the point he told the photographer the "I don't know why he won, his is just stock", nothing like being a good loser. If he looked closely the only thing left untouched is the tank. I am still definately stoked and suprised though that it took first.
(my sig pic doesn't represent the current look of the bike, will update soon.)

Congratulations. I was planning on going to that event with some of my buddies, but my little guy had a basketball game. Enjoy AZ Bike Week!
Most of the guys I have been riding with lately are into the stock vintage bikes, so when I bring my XBones, I stick out like a sore thumb. I wouldn't say mine looks "better" than theirs, because its hard to beat the looks of a stock knuckle head or ancient Indian. When I do ride with guys with newer bikes, mine is definitely the most tricked out, and in my opinion, the best looking, but I haven't ridden with guys from the board yet.
