your bike looks great TC, love the paint

guess i missed this thread, very similar bikes, totally different outcome
instead of the tiny turn signals, i went with a Bright *** taillight & LED's ( which are actually brighter than the Bright *** Light )

if you're going with the Baggertail, spend the extra cash & get the fillers 'yall

Man, that is a good looking bike!! I was going to go with more of a satin black like that, but I knew the striping I wanted wouldn't show up, so I opted for the dead flat.
Are those lids custom built or can you buy them?
Also, I really hadn't seen any bikes with the filler panels so I wasn't sure if the look was worth the coin. Looks real good for sure. If you have and pics straight on of the rear where you can really see how the fillers mount up, I'd love to see em.
How you liking the exhaust?? I had to shave about 2" off my lower pipe because I kept grinding it on the pavement, especially going 2 up..

the lids are from BadDad, i like 'em alot
the fillers mount between the two bolts up top & the clips, & the inside bolt on the bottom ( the one closest to the wheel ) don't have a photo, but it's a simple install
i kinda like the sideshots & kinda don't lol,, the bottom pipe does need to be shortened, as it will grind, which sux,, gonna change them out this winter & going with a SuperTrapp SuperMeg 2:1 for a boost in TQ/HP

Thanks for the info.. If I ever do go the hard bag route, I know where my lids are coming from.
I've got a V&H pro-pipe 2:1 sitting in the garage floor that will probably get ceramic coated black and be on the bike by next spring. Looks like some filler panels are going on to that "to do" list also.

TCannon, bike looks great!! Assuming they are quick release brackets, can you get any pics up of the bags off? I'd really like to do something like this, but don't want the bags on all the time. And knowing what it looks like without the bags on, may or may not push me over the edge. Thanks alot....

The bags come off quick release just like factory Touring bike bags, the brackets do not.
Now, even though the brackets aren't quick release, 2 bolts and a nut per side and the whole assembly is off the bike and you are back to looking stock.
I can try and grab some pics with the bags off and just the brackets remaining, but I don't think I would ever run the bike with just the brackets and no bags.

No problem. So it's not that big of a pita to get the brackets off? How much time would it take, do you think?

Yeah 10 mins is really all it would take, and I was being super conservative when I said 20 minutes.
With a ratchet and socket for the strut bolts and a ratchet wrench for the nut on the back of the passenger footpeg, I can have mine off and looking all stock fatboy in probably 3 minutes if I'm hurrying.

Not to stray from the subject, but what seat is that? It looks different than the earlier posts in this thread.
