We put one on my wife's nightster and she loves it. It APPEARS to cover 50% of the filter, but there's a little room inside there. It looks great and she loves it.
On a side note, while I dont have the numbers and am not a cfm wizard, I can say the the heavy breathers COULD probably flow 10 times as much air as a non-modified internals 2 cylinder will ever need...
How tough is that filter? I saw one today that looked like it had been kicked or crushed somehow. I guess the cover would give it some protection from a careless boot?
I have a SE Heavy Breather too. Kind of like that bare look myself or with the rain sock. If you really want the cover, it's $136 + shipping on ebay. There is also a guy selling a used one right now. I didn't check the model number.
The cover is not a flush fit over the filter. None of the filter is blocked from pulling in air.

I have to agree! ^^^^
Harley puts them on the new screaming eagle bikes and they look good imo.
If you like it, i say go for it!
Does anyone have one of these? I think it's a bit spendy for what it is but do think it looks super cool. Any feedback on the quality and over all thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I had my stage 4 retuned after I put one on, but was able to get back what I lost. Wish I had put one on when I did the upgrade. Expect 5 to 7hp loss. With that said it still looks great!
