I switched from 75w90 to 75w140 last time I changed fluids and the difference is amazing. BTW, I used Mobil 1.

I was thinking about changing my Amsoil 20w50 in the tranny to redline shock oil and the guy told me not to change it because the bike is a 2008 and it calls for 20w50, not that gear oil stuff, and he said that the redline oil is for older harleys?

"The guy?" I might suggest you get a new guy. Change your tranny to gear oil, you won't go back.
